Management Goals

  • Work with all local, state, and federal officials to seek out and provide cost effective solutions and continue to improve services to protect and serve the citizens of McHenry County.
  • Engage the business community to provide a safe and secure environment to conduct and aid in the growth of economic development.
  • Seek input and find opportunities to engage and protect our children; internet safety, child I.D. protection, alcohol and drug safety, and other education opportunities.
  • Continue to build upon existing relations with agencies that protect victims, such as; domestic violence protection services, crisis and intervention, child protection services, and mental health services.
  • Provide updated and continued safety information for senior citizens, including; fraud, scams, thefts, elder abuse and neglect.
  • Continue to build upon internet services and develop future plans for more services.
  • Seek out new ideas, constructive suggestions, and new opportunities to improve overall operations.
  • Encourage outside funding and grant opportunities to reduce burden upon taxpayers.
  • Continue to develop staff to become leaders, and afford everyone opportunities to provide critical input to operational activities.
  • Build upon current social media trends and traditional media information sources to effectively communicate accurate and timely information.
